Most of the Muslim’s properties in India are originated through Sadaath families in the form of Sufi Dargah/Masjid/Eidgah/Ashurkhana/Inam-land, all these properties are the assets of the sadaath families. These facilities were given to the Sufi Sadaath during the reigns of Nawabs, kings, and Zamindars in consideration for their religious obligations.
The Muslim Wakf Board was founded by the Indian central government in 1954 to manage the specific affairs of Muslim Wakf holdings in order to take care Muslim-owned property. The state government receives close to 15% of its revenue from these properties. The Waqf Board is the second-largest landowner in India after the central government-owned departments of Defense and Railways.
For instance, only the properties listed below are owned by Muslim religious institutions in our state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
| Region | Area in acres |
| Telangana | 77,538 (53.3%) |
| Rayalaseema | 27,044 (18.6%) |
| Andhra | 40,929 (28.1%) |
| Total | 445,511 |
Through these Sadaath properties in India, the Muslim Wakf board of each state continues to look out for the interests of Muslims by arranging mass weddings for underprivileged Muslim communities, funding vocational technical trainings for Muslim youth, sponsoring orphanages, developing Masjids, providing incentives to Imams and Mouzans, and providing numerous jobs to Muslim youth through wakf board. The Sadaath Families deserve full credit for the developments.
Currently the status of some Sadaath families in India after Wakf board formation, the whole income of their properties diverted to the state government and dispersing to the needy, but the same Sadaath families fighting for their education, bread & butter and livelihood, as they never spread their hand towards any.
Our request to the A.P State Wakf government to consider and take care whoever belongs to the Sadaath family towards their primary, higher education, medical and better positions/job in Government of Wakf board.
As examples in A.P State Wakf Board, even a single person are not the employee/ member of Wakf board committee from the Sadaath family.
